THE OBEROI MUMBAI HOTEL 

It is a hotel company founded in 1934 by Mohan Singh Oberoi . It has total 33 hotels at different locations all over the world .It's headquarter is in the Delhi, India.It is working under the name of LUXURY OBEROI HOTELS AND RESORTS. 
    
THE OBEROI MUMBAI HOTEL is one of them situated at 216 Netaji Subash Chandar Bose Rd, Mumbai is declared as the worlds best hotel in 2015.It was built in 1986 .It is convenient for international visitors as it is near to airport. Firstly, thank you so much to show your interest in this blog.In my opinion, I also feel that in any organization there is a need to know about their target market with proper strategy, planning and advertisement methods like as the Oberoi Hotels has, their target market is tourists as it is very near to Airport.Moreover,they follow the SWOT method ( skills,weakness,opportunities and threats) to enhance their business in hospitality industry.
      Secondly, I am agree with you that sometimes there are customers that tried to took advantage of that but then the hotel staff need to be active and use their common sense and skills or make tactics that how to handle that type of customers so that in that others customers will not become victim.Thirdly, the four elements as I mentioned early is that one should make SWOT i.e what are their skills so that they attract the guests, their weakness to overcome so that they will be at zenith level, their opportunities like proper location or employees and threats from others like their competitors in the market.Lastly, if that type of situation occur then the smart employee will first made that customer away from others so that not to interrupt other customers and then listen the problem of him or her and after that give a promise that his or her problem will solved in this particular time and then lastly , follow him or her up.

  2. 1) I feel like you must be committed in order to be successful in the hospitality industry. You have to ensure that customers are satisfied and be willing and/or have the desire to go above and beyond for a customer.
    2) I truly do believe that customers are always right. Even if i may not agree with them. Without customers a business can't exist so at the end of the day despite how I may feel, customer satisfaction is the most important thing. The customers are always right.
    3) Four things to keep in mind to be successful when opening a new restaurant and/or hotel is the key competitors, market segments, expenses and location.
    4) When dealing with an irate or upset customer you must remain calm for starters. You should let them know that you understand and are sorry that they aren't happy, offer a solution, ask them how they feel about the solution and if they are okay with it then proceed with the solution.

Customer are first priority for every business and to satisfy their customer according to their need.yes we are agree with your opinion that customers are always right because without customers any business can not be grow or run if we are not able to satisfy customers then we can not succeed any business for long time. First thing is location where the restaurant or Hotel is located because they Target market mainly depend upon the location. Another factor is service skills. next is quality and last thing is market segments like provide same different service as compare to other business which increase migrate segments. first we have to keep the patients and calm then listen the irritated customers show them we are worried about them and make solution of their problem this will help them to cool down and relax customers.

To me, 'Customers are always right' is the phrase that employers use to motivate or to set a mission for employees because at the end of the day, hotels and other customer service operations set the goal to meet and exceed customers expectations. From perspective of a staff, customers may not be always right though. We don't know if there are a few guests who are a little under the weather in any other days.

    If I was in a difficult situation with customers issue, I would apologize to them and then offer complementary goods or services after fixing the problem.

  4. Well! i want to say that you i like this blog and you guys did the good job. As this Oberoi group is very famous in India as well as in whole world. I am from India, i also heard about this group but little bit. But now i know many things from this blog such as facilities provides to customers, friendly staff, cultural dress for staff members and history of the Oberoi group. Moreover, this is multi-cultural company. One person can have luxury experience at Oberoi Hotel and Resorts.

  5. I am too much satisfied with this hotels services and this is one hotel which i prefer most from the hotels whole over the world , and reasons behind this are -
    1)I have visited this hotel few months ago and this hotel service its customer as they are worshiping to god and they give too much respect and offers to customer.
    2)As we know to become successful in hospitality industry hotel should be committed to provide 100 percent satisfaction to their customer and this hotel is also serious about this thing.
    Overall these are few this i love this hotel and its services too much.

    Thank you for letting me know about this hotel.
    I found it really amazing.They not only provide great service but also introduce well their "product" to the world. However, I disagree with the phrase "customers are always right" because of several reasons. Firstly,customers can take advantages from this quotes. In hospitality world, guests are not alway nice. Some of them can may be dangerous. If they can use the advantages of the phrase, it could be a threat to the hotel business. Moreover, I strongly belive that in order to success, hotels should know how to protect their staffs. The reason is that these staffs will be people who work so hard eveyday to delivery "great service" to customers.

  7. Oberoi hotels are considered as the luxurious hotels in India as they provide great luxurious facilities to their customers. I had worked in this hotel in the front office department for 6 months on my industrial training and that time i was totally impressed to see that they provide total satisfaction to their customers. As per my point of view to be successful in a hospitality industry you should be giving proper satisfaction to your customers so that they will come back again to your hotel.

    Personally, these information really help some people who are looking a hotel in India for their vacation. You also did a good job in show us this amazing hotel and I think it is a good advertisement for this hotel.
    For me, customers are upset because of the service,the attitude or the facilities. Actually, there are no difficult customers if we serve well with good facilities. If a customer are upste, we must to look back what happened and fix them.
